7 - Sweden

The origin of the Swedish monarchy dates back a thousand years. The first known king was Erik the victor (Erik Segersäll, in Swedish) who would have ruled the region between 970 and 995.
Carlos 16º Gustavo is the current king of Sweden.

He used the royal crown three years ago when he married Sílvia Renate de Toledo Sommerlath, the daughter of a Brazilian mother and a German father. Sylvia became the 25th Queen of Sweden.
