A vacuum cleaner robot was "caught red-handed" by Oregon state police for house robbery.
Clackamas City Clerks were called by a woman who suspected a thief was locked in her bathroom.
The woman reported to the police that she heard noise and saw "shadows" moving under the bathroom door.
Police officers surrounded the site and, after asking with the help of loudspeakers that the suspect left without getting a reaction, decided to invade the site armed.
As they opened the door, they saw a robot vacuum cleaner doing its job, according to police officer Rogers, who reported the incident on police social networks.
